1º COMPANY BACKGROUND


The company TERRA AUSTRALIS IMP/EXP. LDA. was set up in 1991 and its main activity is the artesanal wood charcoal business. The company has packing capacity in its own installations of about 10.000 tonnes per year.

Its main clients are large supermarkets and hypermarkets and the company is set up to deal with large business volumes in the wood charocoal sector.

The company has direct interest in partnership with producing companies, particularly in South America.
Currently the company sells and export direct from its base and producing partners.

TERRA AUSTRALIS IMP/EXP. LDA is a company which is 100% owned by Portuguese capital, it has two shareholders and owns all of its real estate assets.

The company’s share capital is 400.000 euros.

Direct sales volumes in 2005 was approximately 4.000.000 euros.
